Sacred Art was created by man as a bridge between him and the Divine. Each symbol, colour and shape are like words of a book, indicating the path or making us somehow remember where we came from - which ultimately is of pure awareness and no dual consciousness. Tibetan Thangka painting is about this rich and complex alphabet of codes, real keys to unlock the mind from its illusions to attain nirvana.

Tiffani Gyatso, a Brazilian artist, who studied sacred art of Tibetan Buddhism, at the Norbulingka Institute in India and who works and teaches Thangka for more then 12 years. She will be here sharing with us about her own story of art and buddhism, and how can one understand in a simple, intimate and intuitive manner the pantheon of buddhas of enlightenment.
